    Hi everyone
Thanks for all your ideas and knowledge on the issue.
Unfortunately at 36+5 my waters broke at home the hospital we were booked into don't birth before 37 Weeks so after a quick visit there we were shipped off to a hospital an hour away.
Initially told when we arrived that they would let us stay and just wait for labour to begin. Then they found out I wanted a vbac.
Before we knew it I was strapped to the ctg and babies heartbeat spiked at 190 for about ten minutes.
That was all it took next minute I'm in surgery and they are giving me a consent form to sign. As bubs was prem we were scared of what would happen so once again we found ourselves pushed into a c section. Unfortunately my bad luck continued and the spinal didn't work properly so before I knew what was happening I was waking up in recovery.
My little boy was born that day weighing 2.32kg 41cm long with a 34.5cm hc definitely not the huge baby they kept trying to scare me with.
I still feel like we got pushed into a csection but he only came out with an apgar of 5 at birth so have found myself more at peace with this birth then my prior birth.
We are still having feeding difficulties and look to be in hospital for at least another week yet.

So sorry to hear of your experience my c-section was also under a general and I know how devastating it is.
But a huge congratulations on the birth of your little boy, hopefully feeding improves and you both get to go home very soon xo

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your son. I am so sorry to hear about how you were treated. If you are finding that you are struggling with what has happened ask to speak to someone while you are still in hospy to get your head around it, if thats what you need.
