    Default Capsule or convertible seat?

I love my travel system! After having a convertible 0-4 seat for my first four children I was adamant I wanted the capsule and pram it attaches to for my fifth baby. It has been so much easier getting DS3 in and out of the car, especially as he was born in winter so it kept him nice and warm.

I was concerned about DS growing out of it quickly because I have big babies, but he still has about an inch to go before he reaches the 'maximum height' lines (he's 6.5 months) and he was born weighing 11lbs 3oz!

Loved our capsule! We used it for 4-5 months. We probably could have used it longer but she didn't seem as comfortable as she is a big bub but it was worth every cent. My bub was also a winter baby so it was nice to get her snug before going out.

    Default Capsule or convertible seat?

We had planned on using a RF car seat with #1, but we got a package deal from a baby shop that included a capsule/pram combo and we loved it, it made especially the early days just that bit easier.

When we had #2 we didn't hesitate to get another capsule, (as we sold the first one when we finished with it) and after seeing how convenient it was both my sister and SIL used it for their baby's aswell. and if we where to have any more kids we would do it again.

The capsules I had where the babylove snap & go and the maxi cosi mico. I personally preferred the snap & go, to me it seemed a but more user friendly, the maxi cosi seemed a bit awkward especially to get off the pram.

Default Re: Capsule or convertible seat?

I'm loving my capsule and compatible pram. My bub is only 5 weeks old but the capsule has been great. Had to go out today using dh's car with just the normal convertible car seat and it was a pita.

I love the way that if you know you need to go out soon and bub is about to go for a sleep you can just put then straight in the capsule and not have to worry.

I have a safe n sound unity and icandy apple.

    Default Capsule or convertible seat?

Thanks for the info. I'm getting a travel system. Thinking about the strider plus or strider compact (just have to keep DH away from Target cos there's is cheap and he thinks that would be good)

    Default Capsule or convertible seat?

We couldn't decide either so we bought a convertible car seat (from birth) and have rented maxi cosi capsule. Mainly because we're expecting a premmie so thought it would be easier, especially in the winter and they also threw in the adaptor for our icandy pram.

If you don't want to shell out to buy one, renting for 6 months is a bit cheaper.

I did this- I thought mine was a capsule lol but then realised it wasn't! So I am hiring the unity & we have the meridian This goes onto my pram for convenience and then once she's 6 months I will be able to put her in her pram properly!

    Default Capsule or convertible seat?

Tbh I have DS in a capsule atm and I love it. I live in an apartment so I have to walk down to my car and I often go out with DS on my own and it's sooooo much easier to pop him in and then walk down to the car and just click him in. And I have a little man who rarely falls asleep when he's out and about (much more exciting to stare at stuff and stay awake for 3+ hours!!) so when he eventually falls asleep in his seat being able to just unclick the seat is a blessing. BUT it is secondhand (a friend gave it to me).

And DS is already 7.8kg's at almost 14 weeks and it has a weight limit of 9kg's so I am glad I didn't pay for it. I would definitely look into hiring one though!

    Default Capsule or convertible seat?

Using maxi cosi mico capsule with bugaboo pram and adaptors and I love it. Bub is 5 months and I'm dreading when she's too big for it. It's just so easy to get it out of the car and click into the pram. And if you're just popping in somewhere quickly you can just carry them in without having to unbuckle them or fold out the pram. Saying that, she is getting a tad heavy in it but maxi cosi was the lightest one when I did my research.
