    Default Temping Help!!!!

I've also heard a lot of horror stories about known donors with same sex couples, and so it's made me a little reluctant!

But it's not been ruled out!

Good luck! We went with IVF Australia.

Our donor has been really good so far ... this is only the 4th month trying (with him). You are still young, which is good. Is it you or your partner who is having the treatments?

    It's me.

FF is great as they specialise in donor sperm and same sex couples (not officially the latter, but most of their clients are) which is important to us.

We are young and have time on our side and no apparent fertility probs so hopefully it's just a matter of time and the right mix of egg and sperm!

Oh really? What, like wanting access to the child or something?
The good thing about our donor is that he is married with a few kids of his own, so he feels just as strongly about not wanting involvement, as we do!

If I recall correctly, IVF Australia unofficially don't accept same sex couples, I think that's why we changed, because my GP originally referred us there!

Wanting access, or families wanting access mostly.

Doesn't seem to happen with hetero couples so much, maybe because there is an obvious father already.

If we end up going the AI route again we will look for a stable guy, preferably partnered with kids as well!

No that's not right - they definitely do treat same sex couples. We were there because the specialist dealing with DH's stuff is there.

Ah maybe it was a waiting list thing. It might have been genea that were rather cold to us.

Fertility first has no wait list for treatment or sperm which was great

Genea don't have anon donor sperm - you have to BYO donor with them.

IVFA do have a waiting list. We only had to wait about 2 months, but it sounds as though the waiting time has increased considerably at the moment.
