    Default Medicare immunisation records

Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a record of your own immunisation history like you can for your kids?

If you are as old as I am I'm not sure if they would be on a computer anywhere. I know before I started working with children I had a blood test to see if I had immunity for different things. If you can't track it down through medical or through your parents I would go for a blood test.

Yeah i was thinking there might not be records from back then. I have to get immunised for TAFE and the teacher suggested we might be able to obtain our history from medicare.. i guess that might only apply to those who are just out of school?

    Default Medicare immunisation records

You can get them online on the Medicare website. You just need to log in then print out a copy. Free too I had to do this as DS1 needed a copy for preschool records.

Crap. Just read your post again. I'm not sure about adult immunisation records. Sorry.

    Default Medicare immunisation records

I had to have a similar thing for work, I went to gp with a letter from my employer and had bloods taken to check immunity for the different things listed. Medicare wasn't much help, and I'm only 27.

My mum gave me a little yellow book that contained info from my first 2 years of health checks and things like this (NSW). In the absence of records you could always have a blood test to check immunity to various things if that is what worries you?

I'm 27 too so i guess medicare is a no go. Damn!. Lol.
I would rather avoid the blood test and just get the needles i need.
It's a shame i didn't keep the paperwork from my blood tests when pregnant. I remember they showed a natural immunity to chicken pox and an immunity to rubella. Although they probably weren't comprehensive enough.

Do you remember how much it cost to get the serology done?

I'm guessing you might be younger than me. I don't think health books were around when i was born? If they were, mine is definitely long gone.
