Yay always great to have friends to support at the same stage as you. Alot of my friends already have kids or are older friends with kids who are now in high school. DF has friends with small children but since a few of them are single dad's I wont be socialising just with blokes and their kids lol I need some mummy friends lol

I'll assume there are some groups around here but shame most friends are past it now I know DF thinks about that cause when his mates come round for bbqs they will bring their now older children along. Had fun last NYE cause i told my friend who never wants kids i hoped it was the last I'd be drinking at for a few years lol. Said we will prob be home again this year and be low-key but that is not to put her off coming round I still want my friends around even if they can drink and I can't. UNless we had a preemie baby wont be giving birth by NYE

We have both has the overwhelming 'want kids asap' but I just don't want to until we are married. We have set the date, we are planning and I am only doing the 3 months before so we can avoid the 'pregnant yet?' questions after the wedding day AND because well I think it would even more icing on an already very sickly sweet cake on our wedding day. Why not go all out lol

If he wants to cut back on drinking that can only be a good thing. Does he want you to slow down on talking about it? Or do you just think that maybe your baby chatter is freaking him out a little? Saving money can only be a good thing as well. We are so poor right now but I know that when I get my inheritance in May we will be set but I mean whats more important than a child? Do you want alcohol or do you want a child? I think its a very responsible dad to be thing to be putting alcohol money away to plan for a baby.

Must be so stressful planning a wedding a honeymoon and a baby your like super women
DF pretty much was like 'whatever gets you pregnant asap'. Has he read the website? Its really useful in explaining what it does. I suppose there are some men that really want the ttc journey 'behind the scenes'. I know my DF won't see me doing opks or hpts because I don't want to get his hopes up when I use a hpts or make him feel obligated when I'm O. Unless a bit of time passes and things aren't working.

In all honesty I am really in the early stages of wedding planning. We haven't even paid deposits yet even though things are booked. I think the NY trip will plan itself lol Seriously - every show I watch is NY. I feel like I already know my way around.

Have you ladies decided on numbers? How many bubs you would like?

DF has decided on 2 even though I keep saying no I'd like 3, I always thought by this age I'd already have 2 or atleast 1. He keeps saying his mates always tell him the 3rd kid was a mistake or accident that they shouldn't of kept and said his mum said the same about his brother. I on the other hand am a middle child too and have heaps of friends with 3 kids or a 1 of 3 kids and they love all their kids.

See how we go and what my body allows anyway I guess. If we had twins first and they were both girls fairly certain would be able to try again lol. DF is one of 3 boys so males run high in his family, hope that doesn't carry down the line, I don't only want sons.

Df is very excited to talk about baby stuff and purchasing stuff together and hopes that we fall almost straight away just like me cause he wrote that in my xmas card last year hoping that it was our last child free xmas without a baby in our hands or one on the way just thinks I'm way over the top with everything else and there is no need to test everything. Keep reminding him I'm not 20 anymore lol and after 11 years of different BC and Cervical Ca I just want to know everything works great.

I definitely want 5, DF wants at least 3 and is not opposed to 5 so I think we will be a big family.

I just started Michelle Bridges 12WBT today so I am hoping to lose some serious kgs!

    Have a good day ladies

So Sorry to hear. Hope everything works out and things so smooth from now. Its so great having a place to vent your baby plans without blurting out 'trying for a baby' in a crowded room. I seriously think I would have done that had I not found this thread!
