Hmm maybe he is just an old Guy who is stuck in his ways..so doesnt see anything wrong with it and if it was hot ..

Why is he renting for only a short time? Is he on holidays? Seems strange but if he is nice enough beyond that I wouldn't be toooooo worried

    Eeeeeek!!

    I
spent some time inhospital with a foster child a few years back, some old guy who was using the parents lounge was constantly in there inhis greying/brownish undies, beer gut covering most of them. It washorrid,he treated the place likehishome, not a communal space.

DH does this and while I don't mind when it's just us, or if we're visiting his family, if we have a guest or we're any where else's I find myself hissing at him to put some clothes on, but he's just oblivious to the fact that it could be making someone else uncomfortable.

yuck! My bil does this. Its Gross. i would get in heaps of trouble if i pranced around in my undies yet to mil and bil its ok for him to do it. He Came intk our room to talk to dh and we were sitting on the mattress on the floor so when i looked up all i could see was his undies and i said 'bil, undies' and he responded with 'oh im sorry, i forgot' it happened every day for 2 weeks while we were visiting. It Happened all the time when we lived with them at one stage! Drove me insane. He Is not that great lookkng in undies either so it alwayz made me shudder. Ick. Seriously op, i would give that creepy guy a warning and if he doesnt comply then tell him he is to leave. I wouldnt host him anymore if things like that keep happening. Hugs.

Hahaha... no, not OK! And actually, very disrespectful of him.

This reminds me of my dad, when I was a teenager and had friends over one night for a sleepover we were being loud and giggly as teen girls tend to be at 2 o'clock in the morning and my dad burst in the room, irate, yelling at us to be quiet, in his undies and old navy blue bonds singlet... I was so embarrassed!

I guess I will need to make the house rules clearer : "please make yourself at home WHILE LEAVING YOUR CLOTHES ON" ;-)

We won't have this guest ever again, and I think we will stick with either couples or ladies but no more lonely man.

And the bedroom door is left open again. This time I got the nerve to close it!
Can't wait for him to leave...

We all sleep with our doors open, even when we have guests, are we social outcasts and we just don't know it??? (worried face)

I'm not sure what is wrong with sleeping with the door open. I missed that thread, but we always have our door ajar (open about a foot). I'm assuming he is closing it to change or if he needs "private time".
