I feel bad killing cockroaches because you spray them then they twitch for ages.. But they're gross and should know better than entering my home. Also spiders -There was a daddy long legs in my shower underneath my soap holder and I tried so hard to not wet him. I think he ended up drowning though
I'm always removing daddy long legs from the shower. I hate it when I don't see them and accidentally wash them down the drain ... but death to all cockroaches. lol... DH said something really funny about cockroaches the other day... I asked why he hated them so much, and his answer was "they're always in your business"... I was like "what do you mean?" & he said " they always want to be where humans are"... I lost it imagining cockroaches in the bed, driving my car, & various other human activities... (imagining cartoon cockroaches of course)... oooh... that made me think of a question:

So Jiminy cricket is green right? So is he actually a grasshopper? & why do Americans seem to hate crickets so much? I think they're cute (the little black ones anyway)... are the American ones large & creepy like cockroaches?... off to ask Google...

My theory is that they get sucked down the drain in the washing machine. There can be no other explanation.

In regards to the lost socks....

When I move my ensemble bed I find heaps, when I move the ladder in the laundry (between machine and basket resting spot) I find heaps. And oddly I find the when I move the liquor cabinet as the odd sock basket lives on it. (Damn alcoholic socks).

As for the random never before seen socks... House guests. I know more then once a friend has come over and taken off shoes and socks to relax at an after work BBQ and gone back to find the cats have stolen a sock, lost one, moved one etc. sometime they leave the newly odd one (as I offer to wash and pair them) sometimes I don't so she takes it home.
