Default Random questions you have that you want the answer to...

I was thinking about toileting hundreds of years ago and how that went down.

I know that at one stage, there were "water closets," but then I started thinking about what would happen if you were on a long trek somewhere and needed to go. Not if you were a poor person - you probably just found somewhere and did it - but let's say you were nobility... and a woman. What happened then?

    HENCE THIS THREAD.

Got any random questions to ask? Someone might know how to answer. Google is great, but it just doesn't answer these really random pointless questions...

Lol I would say they used a commode? A timber chair with a porcelain dish inside. This would be carried by foot men and maybe they had some thing like a blanket they threw up so the important one could do their business and then the footman dispose of it once the royalty was back in the carriage or something? Lol no idea just a guess. Haha strange question lol

This is one I've been thinking about lately.
Is frozen coke the same volume when defrosted? Ie am I getting ripped off by getting it frozen? It feels like less but I haven't wanted to waste my frozen coke to find out.
Talk about random! For what it's worth I have tried googling this but couldn't find the answer.

You'd be surprised not only the questions google answers, but how many enough people have asked that it comes up in the search drop down menu.

Yup Yup Yup. I'd vote frozen coke has less volume when melted than just coke. Water expands as it freezes for one and frozen coke is broken up pieces of ice ( well - coke ice) and there would be air between the little bits of ice.

Though really I wouldn't expect a big volume difference.

*** to test it, take some digital kitchen scales and some baby bottles to maccas, pour exactly 250ml of coke no ice and 250ml of frozen into each bottle and see what they each weigh....

Random question: do you sweat when you swim?

So if sweating is a cooling mechanism when you exercise, and swimming is exercise, do you perspire even though you are in cool water??
