Default Less movement at 24 weeks. Preg with twins!

    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if u had a less active twin? Mine seemed to be quite active then the last 24-48 hours it's been less for both although one twin gets busy around 6pm. The other isnt.

I've felt kicks but not near as many as usual.
Is it true that they are quieter during a growth spurt?

    TIA

    Hi,

Sorry no one has replied to you.

I can't speak from "twin" experience, but it can be quite normal for bubs to have active and quiet days. At 24wks if bub was facing your back and kicking toward your spine you'd be less likely to feel movements too. Also, if you are busy, you could just be busy to notice the movements that are being made.

Possibly, things are just starting to get more squished and therefore less extreme feelings.

I think for single pregnancies, you should be counting 10movements in 24hrs from 26wks - not sure how this rule changes for multiples.

If you are concerned, please contact your care providers. I'm sure they'd be happy for you to go in for monitoring.
