Default Nurse in at Sunrise- sydney

I wish I could have been there for support. But I'm in perth.
It makes me so sad that I'm not bf anymore I miss it.

Good on u girls for going there. I have always disliked kochie and never watch sunrise. Bring back channel 10s breakfast show I say!
Still waiting for it to come on here in perth

So proud of all of you who attended, and you Atropos for doing the talking. You did really well, and I love that you pulled him up on the "high traffic" thing about the pool incident, and that you let him know that the talk about being *discrete*, or rather not being discrete is very upsetting.

I got the very strong impression that he just doesn't know what to do with the whole thing and would rather not think about it at all. In one breath saying should be allowed to feed anywhere, but then talking about respecting your environment. Very happy to hear that his daughter tore him a new one.

I don't agree with what he said, but I also don't believe that he should apologise for having an opinion. If he apologises now, are you really going to believe it?

Yes people are allowed to breastfeed whenever and whereever, but there will always be people who do feel uncomfortable seeing it. It is just really unfortunate that such a high profile person chose to share such an opinion. It is these people who can make a difference. If he doesn't agree, he shouldn't have said anything at all.

I breastfeed my child in public, and I don't know if Koshie would call it discreet or not. But at the end of the day, I just get on with what I need to do. If I'm asked to move or cover up, I refuse, and I ignore any negative comments or people staring.

The comments after the video are making me angry.
One has said she (yes she) shouldn't have to listen to a baby slurping noisily while try to have coffee with friends.
WTF! You have a right to coffee why doesn't the bub have a right to eat!
I don't think the message got threw to anyone!

I think Kochie was given too much of a voice I wish the lady spoke abit more.
