I only completed year 10. I'm in brisbane. What uni would I be best to study through?
I'm guessing I would have to sit the stat test through Qtac?

Hello lovely mummies! I'm new! I just got my offer (and accepted without hesitation) for Bachelors in Nursing midyear at CDU thought i'd pop on and see if anyone else is at CDU, and starting as a midyear? Or that started last semester? any idea on the things i'll need straight away? I'm pretty new on what i'll need, and im too impatient to wait for the list to arrive ive been out of school for a while and im a single mummy so i want to try and get stuff now before i start But yeah im 23, with a DD who has just turned 5, and i'll be a FT uni student so yeah! hope everyone is doing well! and everyone is enjoying their studies! I'll pop back on tomorrow when its not 11pm hehe

I don't have a year 12 (was 17 when DD was born), to the lady that asked, i just sat my stat or satac, or the equivalent one off entry test, and got my offer with a score in the top 1% so i cant say what the minimal requirement would be, just sit the test, its pretty easy, and there are 2-6 week prep courses if you are worried about the test/have been out of study for a while or practice tests, usually found in the info leaflet for the test

Hi Lanamuma90, welcome to cdu! If you have facebook, hop onto the Charles Darwin Uni nursing and midwifery external students page. Message the admins your student number and they will be able to add you. Any questions you have will be answered by the lovely people on the page, they'll be able to help you with anything you ask.

I don't think it matters really if you are external or not, as alot of students do some part online. But if you are worried there is also a regular nursing students page, which you can join now if you want.
