Default Bed rail for queen bed with deep mattress

Hi all - does anyone know where you can get a rail for a queen bed that has a deep mattress?

I'm wanting to get one for the occasional nights that DS bed shares with me. I'm 32wks and getting too fat and tired to walk up and down the stairs all night when he's unsettled! It may also help with bub on board.

All the baby shops I've been too so far only sell the standard size ones, which would only just reach the top of my mattress.

I don't know where you could get an actual bedrail for a Queen size, but when we have stayed in Hotels and had this problem, I just bring along one of those pool noodles and put it under the sheets, or some bulky/thick rolled up towels.

Default Bed rail for queen bed with deep mattress

If Aldi's baby sale comes up soon check out their one, I got it last year. It's extendable so can be made bigger or smaller for single, double or queen size beds. Plus it's quite deep, I think. DD has a normal mattress with a small pillow top of about 1 inch and there is still heaps of height.

We bought one from target about 3 years ago - it might have been their own branded one. It is quite long (only about a pillow's amount not covered - on a single bed) and we have deep single mattresses.

They often go on sale for half price ~$35 however I did end up remaking a cover for it as the nylon one started to come undone.

I got mine from target too. We have a really high mattress and brought a few and had to return them.

The target one was excellent, I got mine about 3 years ago too.

Thanks ladies, will have to try another Target perhaps. The or I went too only had a standard small size.

I guess it doesn't have to be long for my queen bed, just high enough for the deeper mattress.
