Just a quick question. I'd love to do back carries with a newborn in the woven but looking at them on you tube it doesn't seem like baby has much head support? How do you stop their head flipping around when they fall asleep? And from what age can you start doing it?

A custom made mei tai style tie up Girasol wrap in Earthy Rainbow. It's called a numbat. We love it!! These are quite old photos, will have to take a new photo soon and upload as its still comfy even though he's a heavy 14 month old.

I bought mine through Tinoki, who also do trial packs so you can try a few different styles before choosing one.

No I didn't get any sort of carrier til she was about 6 weeks, when a friend let me borrow theirs, as they could see I had a bub who would NOT let me put her down. Even though I love the sling, I don't think I'd be confident enough to use it when my bub is brand new as it does squish them a bit and they can look quite awkward in them. By 6 weeks DD had heaps of neck control and sort of wiggled herself into a comfortable spot so I knew her throat wasn't squashed.

I'm due in June so I'm sure if I have trouble with a stretchy wrap you'll hear about it on here before your bub comes!
