    Tabitha is nice...
You should totally use Jemima for a daughter if you have one. Beautiful, elegant traditional name

OP I am a BP fan too! Love Tiggy but think you should give her a 'real' name and just use it as a nickname. Matilda could be shortened to Tiggy instead of Tilly or Tilda? I personally really dislike Tegan!

If I was called tiggy I would not be happy sorry to be blunt Its cute as a nick name but your right with your first post about when she's older drivers licence work etc school well these kids can be very cruel and I'm sure someone will come up with a name to rhyme and tease her with. Tegan is a lovely name but is there any other names u like or are you both set ?

    What about Beatrix or Beatrice?

I know neither obviously shorten to Tiggy but nicknames don't *have* to derive from someone's given name.

Please don't choose Tegan. It's not that it's a bad name, it's just that it is a million miles away from a Beatrix Potter inspired name.

What about Thomasina? :P Only jk I think Mrs Tittlemouse's name is terrible.

Tabitha is a Beatrix Potter name (Mrs Tabitha Twitchit - Tom Kitten's mother) so it could be a proper BP name with Tiggy as a nickname.

Lucinda and Jane are also dolls in one of the stories... names that aren't too OTT or weird (like Hunca Munca... lol).

Jemima Puddleduck's SIL is a b*tch, but her name is Rebecka or something like that.

Lol Hunca Munca! Wonder if that would pass at the BDM office? Lucinda is quite cute.

fwiw I think tiggy is a super cool name! I really dislike tegan but I think you could def shorten beatrix to tiggy and it's a beautiful name. also the idea of have a fairly normal middle to use if later in life she hates tiggy is a good one!

I'm not a fan of either personally but it's up to you and Tiggy is certainly different
