    • bubble machine
    • books
    • lawn mower (dd1 got a pink one for her first b'day)
    • photo frame that says first birthday
    • rag doll
    • a silver bracelet

I found dd1 liked these things when she was one.

Default Present for a one year old girl?

We always go with: something to play with, something to read, something to grow, something to wear and at Christmas, something to share.
For my bubba's first b'day we got her a mini lemon tree, a photo book, an outfit, a bubble wand and a toy animal.
It's not about spending much, I never do

Default Present for a one year old girl?

For my niece and nephews, I got them photo books of photos I had taken over their first year.
I also got them a giant plush toy each so they had something to play with and something to keep forever.

Ds3 got a bouncing tigger for his first birthday, he absolutely loves it. I think they're about $35?
