Default Present ideas for friend having bub

Hi girls, I really wasn't sure what section to post this under. I'm just after a few ideas from those with bubs. My close friend is due to have her 3rd child soon. She's been having a really tough time with the heat & running around after 2 little ones. So I wanted to send her a present for her baby shower but wanted it to be a nice present for her...of course I'm getting a few things for the baby too.

She's having a c-sect. I don't have kids & was wondering what a nice present idea would be that's just for her? I was thinking a gift voucher for a massage but after a c-sect that's prob not the best idea. I wanted to get her something nice but useful also. I have no idea

Default Present ideas for friend having bub

Hi rocky.. How thoughtful! It is hard to get out with a new baby so how about massage for her while in hospy? Most hospitals have at least one specialist masseur who can come out. Or mobile beautician who could do her nails or even a facial? Either in hospy or for when she gets home. Plus a babysitting offer to keep her little ones occupied (esp if it happens at home) while she relaxes. In fact baby sitting any time would probably be the best gift of all.. Esp if u take the two older kids out to the park etc to let her have a proper nap without them in the bsckground!

Foot massage and/or pedicure voucher! Or a mani/pedi or facial voucher. I think any of those would be wonderful.

If you didn't want to do the voucher thing you could always do up a pamper pack or "post birth survival kit" for her. You could add things like yummy shower gel and puff, moisturiser, lip balm, slippers or bed socks, perfume, nice shampoo and conditioner, chocolate, book or a couple of magazines, a couple of home made vouchers for babysitting or a meal you will supply after birth etc.

You could do some nice new pj's or a gown/slippers as another idea.

What a thoughtful friend you are.

Would of loved something like this!! Usually ppl always forget about mum so how lovely are you!! For me it was hard time getting to the toilet or shower so to book anything in advance would of been difficult. But special things for just me when I got the chance would of been FANTASTIC!!

or a voucher for a bra shop to get some bra's that fit lol..

Thank-u so much for the replies!! I love all of the ideas! I was thinking of a pedicure voucher but as I don't have kids wasn't sure if that'd be something people would like afterwards. I don't live in the same city anymore otherwise I would def make the offer to baby sit the two older ones I also love the idea of the pamper pack too with body wash etc.

Thanks for all the great ideas
