    Default TTC with PCOS

Hi I also have pcos. I understand it effects everyone differently. For me I don't ovulate & can go a year without a period at all!!

Anyway, I wish someone would've told me earlier to go to a fertility specialist. I had put this off for ages. They gave me clomid which doesn't cost much & makes me ovulate every month. Unfortunately this didn't work for us so we're moving onto other options.

I've also recently read that diet can also effect pcos, so I'm trying to cut down bread, pasta & rice, just to see if it makes any difference or not.

Good luck! How long have u been ttc for?

    Default TTC with PCOS

Hi I just wanted to share my story! I ttc for 7 years! As pp mentioned, I didn't seek help when we didn't fall pregnant as I was afraid of what they would say! (I am very overweight)I started seeing a fs in 2012 and was diagnosed with PCOS. I tried a year of clomid with no ovulation at all. Last year I moved towns and starting seeing a new fs and he referred me to a dietician! I spent 7 months on a no carb and no sugar diet and lost 30 kilos. I went back and did one round of clomid and and an overdril shot and fell pregnant in August!

My tips is keep demanding answers. My last fs was lovely but he was just happy to keep me on the clomid (which is the devils medication)

Maybe have a look at your diet (eve if you are not overweight).

    Good luck
