I thought my neighbours were nuts because all they do is argue with there kids lol! You poor thing!! What a psycho I would of gone crazy at her I'm glad you can remain calm. If she does want you to bill half you can just say you can't afford it and pay $2 a week!
Nope not illegal, just often inadmissable. Unless its on your property, then it's fine. I'd do it, OP.

OP I am so sorry that you have such revolting people living next to you!

What is wrong with the woman that she thinks it appropriate to instantly become so aggressive towards someone whose property she was on uninvited?!

    I am flabbergasted! 😵

Did any other neighbors hear or see your neighbor loose her sh*t?

I'd make a police report. Better to do it sooner rather than later too - if she tries to make you pay for it you've then got evidence that you didn't want it and complained about its construction.

Oh okay I wasn't sure! Thanks for clarifying. At least they would know they were complete nut jobs! Also why wouldn't they ask you FIRST about the fence for some money! They are the strangest neighbours I've heard of. Definetly report it!!

I would call the police - she threatened your safety so she's clearly a bit unhinged. Get a paper trail going so that if things escalate you have evidence.

Everything they are doing is illegal, I would call council and the police. For one they are pulling down a fence that you own 50 % of. Secondly she is threatening to harm you. I have lived in numerous houses where we have had to replace boundary fencing, and there are council guidelines that have to be adhered to. If they send you a bill, send it back, you are under no obligation to pay it.

Oh my! How frightening for you. She sounds like a nutbag. I'd definitely be going to the police, if not that then start keeping a diary of incidents.
