    Default Am I normal?

We have only been TTC since November 2012 and already I am starting to feel jealous of other pregnant women. Is this normal?

Thanks ladies good to know I'm normal :P Trying hard to not let it control me. Makes it even harder when a family member has just announced she is pregnant and they weren't even trying

Normal, like pp said try not to let it consume you. Some times will be worse than others, depending where you are in your cycle I think. Any pregnancy announcements close to home or when you hear anyone say 'we weren't even trying' will upset you when it never did before. Unfortunately it's just the way it is x

While i think it's a normal reaction initially, you will only makes things worse for yourself and stress yourself more if you let it get to you. My husband had an accident when he and his previous g/f were young and not trying to children. INtially i was getting frustrated they 'accidentially' feel pregnant but we can't when we're trying. But stressing about it doesn't help! Just go with the flow and know that it will happen for you when it's meant to happen!! Enjoy the process. Its all about bringing you and your partner closer together, not just about having a child!!! Good luck

    Default Re: Am I normal?

Yes, totally normal. Im 8 months in and being 22 had everyone tell me "oh you will get preg easy" I think it was the worst advice I had ever gotten, and set me up for a hard 6 months of disappointment. Still get a twinge of envy finding out others are utd

You are not alone! We are in the same boat, been TTC for a few months and I swear every female in my male dominated workplaces pregnant and flouncing around all glowy and fat saying "oh we weren't even trying, it was obviously meant to be!" ... Cue me picking up the sticky tape dispenser ready to hurl it at their head! I get so unnecessarily jealous! I find having a good whinge on the forum and realizing we all feel similar helps!
