    Default Allergy

    Hi
Last night I had an itchy patch on my arm near my elbow. I thought I had been bitten by a mozzie and tried not to scratch it. This morning it is clearly some type of contact allergy. It has spread around my elbow and is burning itching. But now my eyes are starting to get red and itchy & I think they might start to swell. Normally I would just take an antihistamine but I don't think these are safe during pregnancy. Does anyone know anything alternative I can take or do to stop the swelling or relieve the itching?

You can take polaramine in pregnancy, although advice from ob was not 36 hours before birth.
