Default If you could live anywhere

Where would it be? Would you stay where you are?

I'm daydreaming about moving, although I know we wouldn't do it for a few more years yet. If it wasn't for family, I'd love to move away from this area but I don't know where... Just a bigger place where I don't have to worry about the ridiculously competitive young mums here. I also want to live somewhere with decent shopping and schools.

I would buy a house in the UK in either Devon or Cornwall / a town like off the show dr Martin an spend my summers there , then come back to Australia and live te rest of the year where we live now .

In which State are you looking at? Or are you just after people's general ideas?

There's no way in hell I'd live in our current house. The house itself is liveable but doesn't have a very nice atmosphere at all - over the top modern, no character, etc. The street itself is absolutely feral, hearing punch ups out the front isn't unusual on a weekend (pub on the main street at the end of the road).

Have been housesitting for my parents and have decided I want their house. So much space, and I love sitting out in the lovely backyard with a cuppa tea. Beachside, character home. I can imagine DP and I there forever, spending our nights outside in a hammock reading with a glass of wine.

I'm not asking for suggestions, just having a daydream and wondering where everyone would live if it could be anywhere.
    Sorry if I confused you

That's funny - I was pondering the exact same thing this morning.

Somewhere near a nice beach! I love Byron bay, not sure what's it's like to live there but a house on top of the hill and walking distance to the beach would be nice.....
