Just tell them that you'd already had it picked out and coincidences happen.

Honestly, I wouldn't care what my workmates thought, my children are more important than any silly gossips at the water cooler lol.

Thanks grey, I wish I could have that attitude. Should I just go back to work and be like 'oh that's what we are calling our baby if its a girl' or should I say 'that's what we were going to call our baby if its a girl' and wait for their reactions?

Thanks hugs. I feel a bit better now. I think I'll bring it up at work and see what they say.

You could always spell it with double L - Milla and change the middle name to another flower name. There is another thread asking about flower middle names - lots of pretty suggestions.

    Goodluck!

I would speak to your coworker now and say "you wont believe it but we actually chose the exact same name for our baby. I feel awful but me and DH were set on the name so I hope you dont mind but our kids will be named the same" and kind of laugh about it.
Id still use it. If you love it, use it, its a beautiful name.

I would still use it. With all due respect, Mila is a super popular name at the moment, and Rose must be the most popular middle name along with Grace. I know a Mila Ivy and a Mila Jade and a Miller Rose, all younger than 2. If it was a crazy original name it would be a bit awkward to use it, but not a popular name.
I had a name picked for DD1 that I loved and found out a girl at work had a 3yr old with the same name, but we used it anyway - she thinks I copied her but I don't care, as a pp said, nobody 'owns' a name.

If you love it use it!
Maybe you will have a boy and then crisis averted.

Also have you given any thought to any other middle names you might like? Maybe start a thread in the name section here because some Hubbers are really good and picking out names that maybe you hadn't thought of?

seriously, if you love it, use it!
My son is Eli and my daughter (who is due soon) is going to be Ella
I have had so much flack, but I don't care. I love both names so much and i am going to use it!
I hope you come up with something that you are happy with and don't settle until you are!

I chose our son's first and middle names and I knew my husbands boss had the same first name by coincidence but after naming him my husband's boss told him that the middle name is exactly the same too! DH copped some ribbing about being a suck up but we had no idea! I wouldn't have changed it tho. His middle name is actually after Dean from supernatural the tv show.
I'd still use the name you like :-)
