    I prefer wood. DS has a beautiful wooden queen size bed. It will last him forever (I hope!) and we will just replace the mattress as need be. Its really easy to put together and pull apart.

    Haven't taken it apart yet, but putting it together was a breeze... So much easier than the Ikea cot!
