Default Recommend me a high chair

I'm preparing for the moment when DS is ready to start solids and obviously need a high chair.

Has anyone tried the ones that fit a bumbo into the frame? Or is this a waste of money because they only use it for a little while?

Are there any features that make one type of chair better than another? Easy-clean is obviously a priority!

The Ikea Antilop chair is great. Easy to clean and very compact. We had a super duper hand me down $300 chair that had a million different combinations and it was so hard to clean ants got in it. So we bought the $30 Ikea one, best investment ever.

Yes, Ikea one for us too, plus you can take it with you on holiday etc as the legs and tray come off and it is light. Also it takes up the space of a normal dining room chair so doesn't get in the way.

Ikea here too! Bought the cushion insert, used it once. Realised I'm not that 'into' extra washing! That baby got hosed down more than once

ETA: baby in this case is the high chair! Real baby has also been hosed down but in a nicer manner

Ikea! I've brought heaps of high hairs, even the $180 ones and the ikea is the best! So easy to clean/use plus you can pull the legs off and use it as a booster.

    Ikea antilop.

We literally hose it down if things get too messy. It's simple and easy to clean.
Also easy to take places...we just take the legs off and throw it in the boot.

    We used the childcare fizz.

Almost identical to the ikea one but has a 5 point harness so safer.
