My Dh used to be a police officer, and once pulled over a man in his car (for speeding or whatever..can't remember), DH asked him for his name, he said "Some Long C*ck", thinking the guy was joking DH said, can I see you drivers license..sure enough it was Som Leong Kok. Obviously an Asian name, but gee, unfortunate put into an Englisg context...

It's actually not an unusual name, just not overly popular in Australia... yet I have been told that it's disgraceful I named my son after a serial killer. .. to which my response is No, I heard the name on a fictional show about a serial killer and I liked it... I see no problem at all.

I loved that family. They seemed to pull it off though because they were all so too cool for school.

Me too!!! When I first heard them I thought they must be entirely crazy (which, well, they kinda were lol). But they really rocked their names

dad said he never noticed it and that the male genital part in question wasn't called or known as a c0ck where he lived.
It wasn't until Dh was going through boxes of stuff and was looking at the year book.
I remember him saying "Holy sh*t, look at this girls name?!?!"
No one ever believes us until we pull out the book
