Question Bub is 7 months and no teeth!

Hi everyone, well my bub is 7 months and still has no teeth or any signs of them coming soon, is this normal? Occasionally he gets grumpy with bright red cheeks but there is nothing in his mouth. When is the normal age for "pegs" to start going in his mouth? Im a bit concerned because i have read that most babies at 6 months get their first tooth.

Yes some babies are just late teethers and it can be a genetic thing. My ds was 11 months before he got a tooth. Don't worry they will come eventually. Just enjoy all those gummy smiles

    Hi

My daughter didnt get her first tooth until she was just over 7 months and that was the 'norm' in our playgroup. My friends son just got his first tooth and he just turned 8 months.

My DD didnt get her first tooth until she was about 8 months. On the other hand a lady I know's son is only 8 1/2 months and has 9 teeth! My point is that every baby is different. Your baby is definately not behind!

Some babies can actually be born with teeth...imagine that, esp learning to b/feed if you take that avenue...ouch on day one!!!

    Default 9 mnths

My son is 9 mnths and has no teeth though today it looks like his bottom two are cutting through. My first son didn't get his first tooth till he was 13 mnths and then he got them all one after eachother. I found he actually got all his teeth in the end before other kids that started get them younger. I've been told the longer it takes for their teeth to cut through the better quality they are

Don't worry! Nathan started teething at 4 months, he had the works drooling, unsettled, red cheeks, nappy rash but he didn't get any teeth till he was 11 months.
I just hope our little one doesn't have the same trouble, though he's 7 months in a couple of days, and still no pegs for him either
