I grew up with Great Danes and absolutely love them, such gentle giants. They have short lives though (I've heard they're trying to breed that out) so it can be really hard when you loose them around 8/9 years old, but it's hard when any pet passes away.

After them we had a lab/border collie mix and a chocolate lab who were both amazing pets as well. Labs are also such sweethearts.

Holly, I'm in love with Bernese Mountain Dogs. Another giant breed with a short life span.

Another great breed! They're all such gentle giants. The short lifespan is so hard! I pretty much love every animal (in the world ) but have such a soft spot for large dogs. Newfoundlands are another favorite, my list goes on!

I love big dogs but our living circumstances just weren't appropriate for one. We have a cavalier king charles spaniel puppy, have only had her 3 weeks. She is the perfect dog for us and our little kids she has a heart of gold

I love big dogs. Faves are labs, German shepherds and newfies. Also love border collies but I don't think we have the time to exercise one enough.

Our dog is a mix of a couple of our faves... Lab x German shepherd. He's gorgeous and has picked up the best traits from both breeds... Perfect
