Default Re: Weight Gain so far

I dont know what the m stands for but she found out last week she had gestational diabetes. I would just die having to do a gd diet!

I weighed in this morning and I've gained 300g this week, which is better than the last 4 weeks lol if I continue on this path I should stick to an under 10kg gain

    Well done ladies.

Ive lost weight in the last week. Back down to the 54kg range. I think it's cause I've been exercise more. DH is annoyed at me but I haven't done it on purpose the exercise makes my blood sugar control perfect.

MrsT- I think you've been really good with your gain. 10kg is very reasonable.

    It's so boring Zooey

all I eat is porridge, youghurt, cheese, protein (eggs, fish, lamb, chicken) and vegetables (salad or steamed).

Seriously every meal is a vegetable and a protein. Except breakfast.

All I want is a piece of chocolate or a ice cream of some hot chips. But I won't risk her health and my homebirth. So just strict strict strict. Only 12 weeks 4 days at the most to go !

I haven't gained any weight so far (13 weeks) but the scales fluctuate + or - 1 kg or so, which they did on a regular basis before I got pregnant. I haven't had hassles keeping food down or anything like that and I'm eating my fairly normal diet. Have mostly felt like eating good food and not junk. Can afford to lose some body fat as it stuck around after the first bub (didn't weigh myself then, so no idea how much I gained during pregnancy, which clothes fit post pregnancy was the best indicator of weight dropping off).

I have changed shape a little, don't think I'm carrying as much weight on my hips and I am all out in front now instead. Quite sure I'll stack it on later, sort of inevitable with twins.

Finally managed to put on 5kg and keep the weight on. Currently only at 19weeks, but it feels good, rather than it fluctuating back down to my normal weight every few days.
