Awww bwana, i agree with MrsL he IS adorable, look at that little half smile on his face!!! Cute!!

As for me, 39 weeks now, and weight this week was up a total of 6.1kg, I'm pretty chuffed it's not going up too much in the last few weeks. Might be some hope for me to lose it all easily afterwards!!

And yay for your farewell lunch MrsT - i hope they throw a massive party for you, you have gone above and beyond the call of duty for that job!!

not long now girlyboo.... I think my end weight gain was around 6/7kg. I was happy with that.
how much longer for you MrsL?
Wow...I had forgotten what hard work breastfeeding can be in the beginning...
    well worth the effort though.

Bwana I think there's lot's we forget about newborn early days - it's self preservation!! But it is nice to be re-acquainted with all the lovely snuggly bits!! Out of interest have you weighed yourself since youve had bubs? I don't seem to remember losing all that much straight after Ive had my previous children - even with my last baby who was 4.88kg i didn't lose all that much straight away!!

How are you going MrsL - how many weeks are you now?

WOW that's a tiny gain too Bwana!!!!
I have 2.5 weeks left of work and then hopefully no more than 3.5 weeks left before bubs comes!
No rest for the wicked here though - work is SO BUSY & very stressful. I guess it's making time go quicker and at least I'm going home tired so it helps to sleep at night!
I think I have gained around 9kg so far (34 weeks) - so a little bit more than you lucky girls, but still inline with rec weight gain etc.
Not too fussed about that much at this stage.
I don't want to go past 12kg gain full term, so hopefully I can acheive that!

Thanks MrsL and bwana! Glad to hear you're enjoying newborn bliss today was meant to be my last day of work but I've been forbidden from going and will probably be in hospy instead blood pressure was 171/109 last night so I ha e to get it checked again this morning if it hasn't come down my Dr wants me to have the baby ASAP! So not prepared for that! But the good news is he didn't weigh me
