I believe they say there is a higher chance of premature labour if you have had one before. However my SIL had her first 5 weeks early but went on to three more that were all within days of due date or even overdue. So try not to stress. Good luck.

Dd was born at 28 weeks, and ds was born at 36 weeks. Like Donna said, it can be more likely, bu if bub was super Early like dd, usually extra check ups etc are offered.

    Yeh it's really interesting.
I'm not pregnant yet but trying this year for a second, first was born just after 34 weeks.. Always wonder if next will be early aswell or if I go over, then I'll be really hanging out.

I'm interested too! My DD was born at 26weeks due to the onset of PE then it went to HELLP Syndrome.... OB said could possibly go to term with this one but would need CS at 37-38weeks, but they have now bumped my next appt forward and have rung me twice to make sure I come as they need to discuss my blood work... Protein levels already high, so I'm expecting another prem to be quite honest! I'm only 15weeks!

How old is your DD if you don't mind me asking?

I was similar to you but DD was 28 weeks. I'm currently 12w with #2 and the midwife said yesterday to prepare myself for another prem but I don't see my ob until next week so fingers crossed she was just being dramatic.

    Hope everything is ok!
