I got my babies, I was pretty happy with that plus I enjoy pregnancy and giving birth so don't really feel the need to be compensated.

Tbh I find the idea of getting a gift for having a baby a bit weird. Not sure why, just doesn't appeal to me.
There was a thread a while back about these sorts of presents and (surprise surprise) it turned nasty when people who didn't like the idea accused those that did of having a sense of entitlement or not being grateful just to have a healthy baby. It doesn't affect me if someone gets a present to mark an occasion so I couldn't see why people cared so deeply about what other people did.

Sorry wasn't trying to be defensive.

Same boat I'm in, but I'd still like something when we get some cash saved up, just for being a good mum!

I hadn't heard of a push present until about 3 months ago. I doubt I would get one.

I got a ham sandwich, never has a present been so wanted or appreciated. I would have given up all the diamonds and gold in the world for it.
