    Default Activities in the heat...

So, what are you doing to keep your toddie busy with the current temperatures around?

I'm at home with my 20 month old and a 2 week old and I'm running low on activities! We normally spend lots if time at the park....

    Default Activities in the heat...

We've been at the pool everyday this week, went to the water park that just opened here and the play centre too.

We've had one or two days at home but we've painted and watched movies while at home. The sprinkler on the trampoline in the shade has been a huge hit too.

We have been to the indoor play areas this week instead of the park, there are 2 nearby in shopping centres. Also went to the aquarium and next week I'm planning a museum trip.

I saw on facebook a thing, freeze unbreakable toys and let bub smash the ice to get the toys.

I give my toddlers a couple of buckets, cups, plastic spoons etc and fill them up with water and bubbles on the verandah and let them go for it. Or I fill up those squirty bottles with water and they clean the verandah windows with sponges...

Ben and I tried out some coloured ice block painting the other day while Daddy was out with Sam - he loved it! Bit messy but mess is fun!!

Lots of outdoor play and trips to parks, walks etc keep the boys happy. Who needs a tv while the weathers nice?
