    Default Resume help

Just a quick question... looking at going back to work part-time and I need to update (redo) my resume! I am thinking I might ******line it a little and just put in the most relevant jobs I have done, Is it ok to leave gaps in time of 1 or 2 months at a time where I might have done temp jobs??

I find that if they're not relevant/have no relevant skills then it's fine to leave them out and if you're asked what happened in those few months in the interview then be honest

Personally, I prefer candidates to mention gaps. E.g. in my former life I travelled alot, so when filling in my CV upon return I would put:

    Jan-Jun 2004: Travelling South America.

When I went on maternity leave I put that down as well. So if you were temping just add a line in between jobs to say that. You don't have to go into detail on the role, who you worked for etc. Leave that for the roles that are relevant to the job you're applying for and/or the application letter itself.

I don't think there is a right or wrong way here, but as a senior manager I personally prefer CVs to detail the full picture.

Good luck with your job hunt!
