That sounds great. I know it's tough but in a few months you will be less sleep deprived and life will get a lot easier. Let us know how it goes.

    Good luck!!
Hope your bub learns quickly. Mine got it really fast, but took about a week at night to get him to sleep through. His day sleeps are good now, as long as its pretty quiet, I've come to realise he's a light sleeper so the construction across th road wakes him quite often but mostly he manages to go back to sleep himself but sometimes I might have to resettle him. Your infant sleep consultant will teach you all that. And remember to hang in there because it will get better!!

Default 4.5 month old - just wont sleep and its getting worse

It's really hard to sum up in a post... I was there for 5 nights and days and learning the entire time. Everyone at Masada has a tailored learning too depending on their child's age, mums frame of mind, particular issues they're having. For me it was all about a more rigid routine, learning the different cries and trusting that there are other methods than BF to settle bubs overnight.

Well folks the sleep lady came last night - it was the best money I chose to spend. She came to our home and asked a lot of questions to know about my bubs birth, first few months, our routine at home, her personality etc then got to work. She found a way to help me settle bub in her cot without the rocking./walking that she has needed until now. Of course there was protesting but the sleep consultant found the one thing that worked for my bub and when we found that kept working it until we had a break through. And then we had the best night in a long time!!!! She slept 4 hours then 5 hours which she hasnt done in a long time.
I dont expect perfection from the start but it encourages me to stick with it and I encourage anyone having the same issue to dont "wait cause its a phase" etc as my bub was just getting worse. Sleep lady was the best money ever and its only the first 24hours for us!! If nayone in Brisbane or Gold Coast (QLD) wants her details just let me know cause she is awesome!
