    Default Low Progesterone

I had low progesterone levels when TCC #1. It can also put u at risk of miscarriage if u do fall pg. I highly recommend an acupuncturist that specializes in fertility as this did wonders for my levels and supported my pregnancy with DD with no issues.

I also used pesseries and they were not pleasant. Very messy and can have side effects. My friend who TTC uses the cream and says that had helped hers. So there are a few options!

Prog is meant to be low on day 1, thats why we get af. You need to have prog levels tested on day 21 of your cycle. Progesterone shouldn't start rising till after you have ovulated.

I agree with PoppyLoppy!! If you periods start earlier than 10-14 days after ovulation then that can be a sign of low progesterone. Although i do believe they can determine what is considered 'low' even for the follicular phase of your cycle (from day 1 til ovulation) I would also recommend an acupuncturist to assist in balancing your hormones! If you are concerned then ask your dr for a referral to a gyno who will cycle monitor and if your progesterone levels are low they can give you a supplement! Either way, the best thing you can do is not stress about it. Good luck
