I'm ok. Still having panic attacks, still crying everyday, still can't tell people what the latest is without tearing up. Things are hard. Just so hard having all this dumped on us then no contact for a month. Trying to keep my questions in check but it's so hard to know how much hope to allow myself

Ask however many and whatever questions you need to. Do whatever you need to do to ease your mind for the future because you don't want to be wondering about something further down the track, beating yourself up because you didn't just call and ask. When we first lost Clem I called the midwife who delivered her at the hospital many times those first couple weeks. One time I called to ask if she had had ears (they had wrapped her before we held her and only her face showed, I had tried to look at her ears and push the wrap back but her skin was so fragile I worried I would 'break' her) a few days later I called the midwife in a panic, needing to know the answer. I'm glad I did because I would hate for something so simple to haunt me now. I know we're in different situations but call your specialists as often as you need to to help you. I really think they don't mind, they know what an awful time this is for you and I believe they genuinely want to help you figure this all out.

Ally- just wanted to make sure you know about a charity called Heartfelt. They are a group of professional photographers that will come to the hospital for free and take some really gorgeous photos of you and Angus (whether he is born living or has already passed). The photos are so amazing, I really wish somebody had told us about them. Maybe look into contacting them so you can get them to come take some shots of you as a family and of Angus whenever he arrives.

Thanks kirst, I have been recommended them by a friend and have a number. My pediatrician has promised to help organise some mementos for him too.

I'm sorry you weren't told about them surely the hospital should have said something to you?
