Ally- I've just found your story and think you're so amazing and strong. We lost our baby girl Clementine at 20 weeks in Dec. I went for a normal scheduled appointment and the doctor could find her heartbeat and she wasn't moving. The past couple months have been awful, the grief and trying to figure out what happened. We were first told to see a geneticist because the pathologist listed some 'minor facial abnormalities' that could indicate a syndrome. We saw a geneticist about a month ago. She couldn't tell us anymore, all of Clem's chromosome testing came up normal and she felt that it was too hard to tell if she had actual facial abnormalities because of her gestation and they were too minor, she said its often hard to tell that some things are abnormal when a baby is still so young. Basically it may have been a syndrome that they haven't discovered yet or it may not have been.

I haven't dealt with a full knowledge and diagnosis of a syndrome but I do know what it's like to have the worry of dealing with genetics and to love your baby so much and get such awful news. I think we may live in the same area. PM me if you'd like to get a coffee or go for a walk.
