    Default Cramps at 15 weeks

    Hi guys,

I had on and off cramping throughout the first trimester but it mostly disappeared after about 11 weeks.

I'm now 15w2d and I've had cramping for the past two days, on and off all day.

It's not very painful, but it's concerning me. It's like 'twinges' and dull stabbing pains rather than normal period-type cramping. Mostly on my right side.

I've been going swimming for 30 minutes each day for fitness, but I'm afraid to go now!

Is anyone else experiencing this at all? Or have you in the past?

    Thank you

I've had various forms of cramping and pains on and off the whole pregnancy and I'm 19+2 today if you're worried I'd see your gp but unless its extremely painful or you have bleeding I don't think its any cause for concern! I think its probably just bubs growing some more good luck!

    Thank you!

I think I will take it easy today and call my obstetrician tomorrow for some reassurance.

Around 15 weeks was when I started to get stabby pains in my lower abdomen, apparently its round ligament pain caused by all the stretching and the fact that your ligaments have to change and support weight differently as you get bigger. Nothing to worry about if that's what it is you're feeling.
