    Default Partner in Custody.

I've seen this over and over with my brother. I'd prepare myself for the worst, you say you are great together but 4 months isn't enough time to really know someone.

You need to go to court so you can hear all the charges for yourself. It will be hard but it's the only way you'll know the truth.

Posts seem to be very slow so we have a few doubles. If he is going to Perth (if you know) please PM me.

    Default Partner in Custody.

Sorry this is happening, I suppose it's also a bit of shock as you thought you knew who he was and then he had this big secret ( so mid trust too).
Can you google his name to see if anything comes up? As someone else suggested if he's in court tomorrow you should be able to get an idea of what you're dealing with

Sorry but the fact that he won't tell you what the charges are would be setting alarm bells off in my head.

I hope it turns out to be nothing serious

I'd be searching google too if I was in your position. Might bring something up.

    Default Partner in Custody.

My SIL has been in your position before.

She was engaged to a guy she thought was great, the police showed up one day and arrested him. She didn't know what was going on, I think they had been together for about a year and had just started living together. She went to the court hearing and it turned out he had king hit another guy at a pub about 18 months prior and shattered his jaw. He ended up doing close to a year for a grievous bodily harm charge. She stuck by him throughout the jail term going to visit when she could (she had a 3 year old son from a previous relationship). He got out, they moved back in together and about a year later she saw the bad side of him when he got physical with her. She pressed charges, he went back to jail and she now has an AVO out on him (this was about 7 years ago or so).

Sorry I couldn't give you a happier story......

I would try to go to the court if you can, you will be aloud in - its just that watch house prisoners can't make phone class so once he gets to a proper jail then he will be able to call you. Hope his charges aren't too bad xx
