I'm ttly the same except DH is even more cautious than me. He was completely shattered with our mc. I couldn't sleep last night cause I was so excited to test with FMU. I woke an hour before DH and sat there grinning the whole time waiting for him to wake up a little. Eventually I slipped the test into his hand but when he saw my cheesy grin he didn't need to read the results.
I am really nervous but excited. Hoping to get a better indication of where we are at with a BT on Tuesday. Then I can feel some confidence and ease.

Fx everything works out just fine for both of us and we can be due date buddies too. : )

I think its understandable to be a little worried after you've wanted this for so long. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the one!

Hey Kelsie, I thought the same as you that I'd ask my gp to do a bunch of tests but she just wanted me to see a specialist and didn't do any (got DH a sperm analysis done though). I called and made a booking with a fs and he was happy to bulkbill DH and for me it was going to be around $200 but you get medicare rebate of over $100 I think so not too bad. I think if you're serious it's probably best just to see the fs as they will be a lot more knowledgeable, will probably be able to spend more time, order more appropriate tests and can prescribe more appropriate treatment if necessary.

Not that I've actually seen the fs yet and assuming this is sticky I'll be cancelling my appointment soon. I reckon booking in the appointment jinxed me into getting a bfp so fingerscrossed for anyone else who plans to do so.

Thanks Noty, I thought it would be a lot more expensive so that is great to know! And yes, good advice re: the FS knowing specifically what tests to get done :-)

Congrats again on your BPF, no doubt you'll have a smooth remaining 8 months :-)
