Hi Kelsie, my doc referred me to my fertility specialist (Dr Bopp) before we even started TTC. Hopefully they will do it for you straight away!

So can't the doctor refer me for an ultrasound without seeing a FS? I guess that's what I'm trying to avoid.
Although I'm only now realizing that the FS are the only ones that can do the ultrasound, is that right?

I think the normal doc could do the referral, and the ultrasound is done by a sonographer. But I guess depending on the results your doc may refer you to a FS. Normal doc is definately cheaper than FS

Yep yep, that's kinda why I'm trying to avoid the FS :-) thanks for that, I'll get the referral for an ultrasound and see what comes out of it :-)

Oh stephi. I'm sure it's nothing but understandably you are going to worry. Apparently (and plse someone correct me if I am wrong) mild cramping on its own is normal I think if its not accompanied by bleeding its nothing to be concerned about.

Plse see ur doc if you are worried though. Try your best to relax. xxx
