Then I also think.. Stuff it! It's just one day.. This is the rest of my life. Argghh. So hard. I think my bro would take it ok. I think my SIL would be ok at first but secretly peed off. I don't want to have to apologise when I get my BFP. There's no right answer.
I think with us I would be happy to be anything up to 6 months pregnant for my best friends wedding... Not much more as then it might start becoming hard to help her with things... That's my job after all!

    That's just me though...

That's what we'll be doing as well. If it happens, it happens. Like Shelby said, I won't regret a BFP no matter when it comes!!

Umm. No. Debated about that bit too. I'm scared they will think we are selfish. My mum knows. She is no help- lol. Keeps telling me it's our choice. Which is great but i just want someone to tell me what to do.

I know how you feel Channy. We are only a few months in but it took over a year to fall with DS and every month it doesn't happen makes me a bit panicky and sad that either it will take that long again, or longer, or worse we just won't fall!

I guess my reply to this is an answer to stopping ttcing for december as well. It took us so long, with no known issues, to conceive DS. Who knows what the magic factor was the month we fell, who knows that if we stopped that the month/s we stopped could have held that magic factor that would make us fall again so I just wouldn't want to take the risk.

MWL - I would still do it. If you had just found out you were pregnant when they announced the date (to coincide with you being utd) would they change the date? You cannot change your life to suit other people, our chances of falling pregnant each month aren't that huge really (what do they say 25% or less?) so if you did fall I would go of the feeling "it was meant to be". If you being due at your brothers wedding date means they get angry and don't want to talk to you, I would be like 'fine you are not people I want in my life then'. Without sounding harsh, you being at his wedding or being a bridesmaid at his wedding will neither make or break the wedding or the marriage. If it is enough to ruin their day (or her day) then foundations for it are shallow and she needs to look at her priorities.

(ooh sorry wee bit ranty there but as a makeup artist I have worked on hundreds of weddings and seen hundreds of scenarios, the best couples (who i still keep in contact with) are the ones that embrace every little hurdle and every event.).

This is how I feel now about DH being off work and ttcing. If we fall it was meant to be and we will get through it.

MWL- we aren't telling people either. I just couldn't handle the constant questioning. Depending on what type of person your SIL is it may soften the blow. The only way you'll stop trying really is to not have sex at all. So, if you're just doing it for fun, you really aren't gonna miss out. But I'd say keep trying. Babies rarely come on their due dates. If the wedding is close to home and you aren't too uncomfortable you can always just do the ceremony even if you are about to pop.
