Default Canesten cream for 2.5 yr old??

Does anyone know if I can use canesten cream on my 2.5 yr old DD! She is really red so I'm wondering if she has a bit of vaginal thrush! She also seems really sensitive down there! Thought i might try and treat it before I take her to the GP!
