Default I like summer but 44 degrees? Really?

I feel sorry for you southerners. It's very yucky.
Here on Gold Coast it got to about 28 and thankfully the humidity wasn't high. So it's been pleasant today.
I really hope we don't get your heat come up to us.

Gosh it has been hot here in Adelaide! Even with the air con set at 26 it got to 32 inside. Thankfully it was cool enough for DS with the air con and a fan to move the air around.

I remember that jan day in 2009 when it got to 45.7 ... Today didn't feel quite as bad as that day, maybe it was the wind direction?

I really worry about all the older residents in SA on days like today.

41 in Melbourne today. Had been planning to sell all my baby stuff at the monthly baby market. Had been organising it for 3 months.
Didn't sell anything, as hardly anyone came. The other 2 ladies only sold enough to pay me back the table hire.
My best friend got heat stroke and we had to go home.
    I really hate summer...
The kids aren't handling it well with our stupid air con.

I'm enjoying learning who my fellow Adelaideans are!

I hope you're all well and cool!

I have the palest skin in the world and I got slightly pink from not even 5 minutes in the sun!
