Payments like this only show up 2 days before the payment is to go in (special one off payments I mean, regular ones show up sooner)

So it should be showing in your online services on Monday, my payment goes in Monday and it started showing up today

    Hope this helps.

My child is turning 5 in May so he is not in year 1!
Kimberlygal, can I ask you to take another look at the table.
I can see how you have read the table, but you are reading it incorrectly.
It shows the first year that the bonus is paid (and as we have established it varies from state to state) and then the years in primary school that are eligible. It is not referring to years 1-7 as being called pre-primary.

    Default School kids bonus

Yes. We understand that. Your child will be in Pre-primary and if you satisfy the other criteria your child is eligible for the schoolkids bonus, because Pre-primary is quite clearly labelled as an eligible primary school year in WA.

Other posters have tried to explain the table to you when it seems to make perfect sense to all of us, but somehow not you. The confusion with you not knowing what the year levels are called and your misunderstanding that all the years of primary school could somehow be described as 'pre-primary' has me quite amused. Perhaps having a friend with children who attend school to explain the table to you might be helpful?

Out of interest's sake, did your child go to kindergarten in WA last year or has this confusion also caused your child to miss a year of Pre-school (or kindergarten as we call it)?

How soon before the payment is it showing up online for people? There is no reason I shouldn't get paid but from memory last year it showed a week before on online services

No, it's because the first year of school is called different things in different states and that even for secondary, the years are different in different states eg 7-12 and 8-12.

They aren't referring to years 1-7 as being called pre-primary but rather that the year called pre-primary (or prep in qld for instance) is the first year of school.
