Default Baby jogger city mini or city mini GT?

So after trying out lots of prams DH and I have decided we both like the Baby jogger city minis the best. Just wondering if anyone has any comments on if the GT is worth an extra $150. The differences are the break is a hand break on the side of the GT as opposed to a foot break, the GT has better wheels( forever air foam filled tyres), and adjustable handle bar. The city mini is better colors in my opinion than the GT though.
    Any feedback would be great.

Default Baby jogger city mini or city mini GT?

I just brought a second hand GT model after initially picking the city mini!

I plan to walk a lot and the quality of the wheels was a big influence for me! I didn't mind the other features either way and got a really good price second hand so that also made the decision for me!

    Good luck!

I have the mini and the wheels aren't very good. They are okay if you just use the pram in shopping centres etc, but I use ours outdoors a lot as well. I would choose the GT just for the wheels.

I agree, the gt is for outdoor use and city mini is for indoor use. Will you walk alot with the pram outdoors?
Also, from memory the seat sits a taller toddler more comfortably??

I've got the city mini as my shopping pram and the GT double as my walking pram. If you do lots of walking and outdoors stuff then the GT is the better model with the wheels and I prefer the break on the handle. The normal mini model is still a fantastic pram though..

I guess you've got to ask yourself how much you intend to use it?

We just got the mini which we are loving. We already have an older pram designed for more rugged terrain, so our mini will mostly be used for shopping centres and day trips.

I didn't really want to spend the extra on the GT, my only reason for sticking with the standard mini. If you can afford the extra $ comfortably, it's probably worth having the extra durability, especially if it's going to be your main all-round pram.

Either way, it's a great pram and you won't regret buying it

It will be our main (and hopefully only) pram. will be used for shopping, walking to park or shops plus any day trip (e.g the zoo).

I haven't bought or used it yet but we are planning to get the GT as our only pram. I want something small and light to chuck in the car (love the quick fold), but also robust enough for the uneven, hilly and gravel paths we have around our house. The GT seems the best compromise for us.

I have the gt and the forever air tyres were what sold me. They will never go flat and u can take it anywhere and not worry the wheels will be ruined. The hand break is good too but wasn't the main selling point for me. I have been through a few prams and this one is the best! Love the gt!

Thanks for all your replies. We are going to go with the GT. the baby shop near us has them on sale for $550 so I think that's an ok price. I can't find them much cheaper from online shopping once delivery is added.
Now I just have to decide on a colour. Red ( already have a red and black nappy bag from DD1) or green. Wish I wasn't such an indecisive person lol.
