    Default Latch issue

Hoping someone can tell me it does get better!!

I havd seen a LC in the last week for attachment issue; both nipples ridged and so sore. I hate anything touching my nipples.

My technique is the issue. LC havd clear instructions and advice on how to get it right. On that day it was great. Since then I still just can't get it.

I'm feeling low today and very incapable! Does it get better?

I just want my boobs/nipples to not hurt. The slightest bump is excruciating! Will it ever heal

I've heard many women swear by lasinoh (spelling?) and also hydrogel breast disks, put them in the fridge or freezer

^this. Loads better than any cream at healing cracked nipples. Lansinoh I found helped them from getting worse if I put it on before a feed to help lube my nipples before getting chomped.

All of the above. !! I struggled through for 8 weeks and mouth structural issues with DS1 much to the amazement of the LC. I so hoped this was going to be easier with DS2. Alas, no. I know it's attachment issue but I just cannot improve it. My nipple is squashed flat every feed with ridges down the centre!!

I found my nipples got so bad I had to pump every second feed for a few days to let them heal.
    Lansinoh it's a God send.
    Even cold cabbage leaves helped.
It does get better! Both you and bub will learn what works.
Hang in there a bit longer.
    Hugs

I don't post very often BUT I had to reply -- I felt like you with my DS2 & after seeing 2 LC's & enduring 6 weeks of pain like you have explained my DS2 was diagnosed with a very mild tongue tie. So please make sure the problem doesn't lie with him... Once he had his TT snipped all my issues went away & we are still BF 6 months down the line. Goodluck!!!
