You will need one with pneumatic tyres, the front tyre will need to lock straight so it doesn't wobble. The place where baby sits needs to be a hammock style so it moves gently while you run.

Ones you could look at are mountain buggy urban or terrain, baby jogger city elite, Phil n teds sport.

I have a Mountain Buggy Terrain and it's awesome . It's made specifically for all terrain and running, so has better suspension than most normal prams and has large rear tyres for stability and a handbrake for controlling the pram when running downhill.

BAby jogger also have dedicated running prams. I don't think they reccommend that you run with a child until they are 6 months old due to head control. You may need that time to for everything to recover fully before you start full on running too.

    Default Re: Jogging/Running Pram

Hi there! I have a mb urban jungle as I also wanted a pretty smooth ride and good walking/jogging pram. When I started to run (i was a beginner, did couch to 5k program) bubs was nearly 6 months and I think running with the pram was not good for my posture etc, I was leaning forward pushing and it felt wrong. This could well be because I was a beginner runner though! Bubs also didn't seem to like it, but maybe it was a stage he was going through! I ended up running with a friend from my mothers group, we took her double pram and one would walk with both babies around the park while the other ran, and then we swapped! Worked for us, but I still really like having the suspension and pneumatic tyres on the pram as it's great for walking and off road walking too. Good luck and check out couch to 5k for beginners running!
