Absolutely. Dp and I have spoken about these things considering his medical things as discussed in our other thread. Hopefully won't have to go down that path but I feel for all the couples that have to.
Stupid posts not going thru!! It is pretty much all booked and dress is ordered!
What a shame. I hope nobody here has to go through that either. How devastating. I hope in time she heals and can move on from the experience which must have just been so difficult. I guess it's a good reminder to be grateful for what you've got and not to take anything so seriously that you forget you are first and foremost best mates with your DP/DF/DH!
Today's appt was for the whooping cough jab but he had to talk me through the iron results so the giant needle can wait!!
DP will have to do that as well. He didn't come with me, I just went to the doc on my lunch break, but he's going to come with me for the infusion which takes 6 hours! 6 hours with an iron drip pumping it into my blood. Ew!
That's good that cod liver oil was doing such great things for you! I never take supplements but now I think I probably should. Sounds like taking vitamin D in winter and iron for a few months should be nice and easy, must be great to know you're all in order for everything else!

I think DH and I should start talking about fertility issues more. I don't want the same happening to us if we have any problems. I'm a bit worried as DH is getting his swimmers checked tomorrow and I'm trying to prepare myself if its bad news.
Hey girls, sorry it has been so long once again! Have had a lot on my mind and every time I pick up my phone/laptop I'm googling abnormal pap results and the procedures, etc! Bad I know... Dr Google is so scary with all of his horror stories!
Huge congratulations to all of the ladies who have got their BFP's! So jealous, but very happy for you all 😊
I have just read through like 5 pages of posts and now I've forgotten everything I was going to say (I'm on my phone)
So I'll update on my gyno appt today... He pretty much explained it in full detail, I had the colposcopy and he took two separate biopsies from the abnormal cell lesions. He said that I'm definitely going to have to have further treatment, the result of the biopsy will determine which one. He said catching it now, the treatment has a high success rate of getting rid if all affected cells (and not having them come back) and also has a 95% success rate of preserving fertility. Thank goodness! So relieved..
He said that if we were planning another pregnancy for this year/soon, it will push the whole process back 3 months. Which is fine because we won't be trying until July/August anyway!
Sorry for the "all about me" post, but I really can't remember what everyone else has been writing! I promise it won't be so long until my next post, starting to feel better about the whole situation after today 😌 xx
