    Default 2013...The year of BFP's!

delirium- I'm so sorry to hear that, it will happen I promise you! the best thing I did was stop stressing, I deleted all my ovulation calendars and my baby apps, I didn't even focus on when I was ovulating. 2 months later here I am, 8 weeks pregnant in bed with a bad case of 'all day sickness'
ohhhh and this is only the beginning! lol

Disney as far as I understand it can affect people with poor immune systems which is why pregnant people, elderly people and ill people are at the biggest risk, but if you are not pregnant yet you will be fine! Still if you notice any fever, nausea, aches or pains, get ye straight to the doc!

    Congrats LamaBana! YaaaaaY!!

In response to the chat about how often to DTD during O week... I just finished reading What to Expect Before you're Expecting and it says that once a day is good, but any more than once a day is no good because the swimmers need time to replenish. She also says that if there is any problems with sperm production in your partner then once every 2 days is better to allow time for the stores to build back up.

AFM today is my first supposed O week after coming off BC although I don't expect to actually O since my body may still be whack from the pill. I am going to do a few OPKs anyway since it's fun to see what's happening in there, and when I am not on the pill my period was always like clockwork so I live in hope that it's gone straight back to that

Oh I love a good opk LOL!! I was lucky enough to ovulate as soon as I came off bc so I'm sure you will too elswyth. I think it's quite common for your body to pick up where it left off!

What did everyone get up to this weekend? Mine was pretty laid back. On Saturday I hung out with my sister and her boyfriend, went out for lunch had a couple of drinks. Today was our domestic day, cleaning, doing the washing, paying bills all the boring stuff. Then DH and I caught up on some episodes of Pretty Little Liars

oh NomieTee will be married now!! I hope her day went perfectly, I'm sure it will. So excited for her .

I got drunk for the first time in almost a year on Friday night for a friends leaving work do. Was nothing big but just nice to have let my hair down since falling pregnant and losing Skye.

I know that sounds terrible that that was a highlight of my weekend but oh well!

Saturday we helped my mum with her garage sale and DF went into town. He also woke me up at 3am when he got home to be "cuddly" ;-). Today we went to my lil brother's bday party (he's 6 and so cute with all his friends!).

How exciting for Nomie Tee, still 8 months to go until ours.

Its completely healthy (for your mind, not so much your body lol) to go out and let your hair down! Sounds like you needed it and you had a fabulous time! It doesn't sound terrible at all.

My weekend was good. Dp and I had a lovely date day on Saturday. Went to the hawksbury river and looked at sand sculptures. Some of them were amazing! Then followed it up with lunch at a small cafe nearby. Went out for dinner and ended the day at the movies. Today was good too. Did the grocery shopping then enjoyed our neighbours company. I love playing with all the kids especially the 1 yr old boy ( one I spent feeding new years nite) and the other neighbours 8 month old daughter. So many kids that come and play on our lawn as we are the middle house.
